Questions

The short answers

Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, login, or email. You open Loker and your data lives on your device from the first launch.
Where is my data stored?
In a local SQLite database on your phone. Loker has no server, so nothing is uploaded unless you turn on the optional encrypted backup.
What does the cloud backup actually do?
It's optional. When enabled, Loker writes an encrypted snapshot to your own Google Drive so you can restore after a phone swap. The encryption key stays on your device — we can't read it, and neither can Google.
Is the AI sending my data somewhere?
Only if you set it up. AI features are bring-your-own-key (BYOK): you add an API key, and requests go directly to that provider. Leave it off and nothing leaves your phone.
Is Loker really open source?
Yes — the source is public so anyone can audit exactly how your data is handled. View it on GitHub.
When is it on the Play Store?
Soon. The Google Play link here is a placeholder until the store listing is live. Star the repo to follow along.
